AB Entertainment LLC, operator of Quick Splits, is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. This means we decide how and why your personal data is processed when you use the Service.
Personal data we collect and why
- Account data (email address, password credentials): to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Split sheet content (song title, artist, stage and legal names of writers, PRO and IPI numbers, publisher details, share percentages, collaborator email addresses, signature images and timestamps): to generate, store, and share split sheets you create. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you; legitimate interests where a collaborator's details are entered by another user.
- Support messages: to respond to your inquiries. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Usage and technical data (log events, device identifiers, IP address): for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Marketing communications (only where you opt in): legal basis: consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, authentication, and email delivery providers who process data on our instructions.
- Merchant of Record: Paddle.com handles the sale of our product, subscription management, payments, invoicing, and tax compliance.
- Collaborators you invite: people you add to a split sheet can see the split sheet content you share with them.
- Professional advisers: legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
- Authorities: where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep account and split sheet data for as long as your account is active and for up to 12 months after closure, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes. After that, data is deleted or anonymised. You can delete individual split sheets at any time.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data is transferred from the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. UK/EEA users may also complain to their local supervisory authority. Email contact@abentertainmentllc.com and we will respond within one month.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level database security, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember essential preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though the Service may not function correctly without the essential ones.
